Tools, Experiences and Inspiration Through the Ages

Do you ever wonder if there are musicians throughout the state that are experiencing the same things you are.  Maybe you wish you knew people that were at a similar place professionally. This session offers a chance to make connections and bounce ideas off other ACDA-MN members with similar years of teaching and leading experience.  Members will have guided dialogue in groups consisting of 1-10 years of experience, 11-20 years of experience, and 21+ years of experience.

Beyond Chanukah…Programming Jewish Music for the entire year

Jewish choral music has a rich tradition and extensive catalog.    While there are many categories of Jewish music, including theatrical and commercial music, this session will focus on choral music repertoire, both secular and sacred.  This presentation will instill a curiosity to research Jewish choral music that is appropriate through the entire year, rather than an obligatory piece at Chanukah.
