Hamline University Credits

Two semester hours of graduate credit will be offered by the Division of Graduate and Continuing Education Studies of Hamline University in St. Paul. Registrants must participate in all Summer Dialogue presentations scheduled throughout the entire week. No partial credit offered for partial week attendance. Written journal of session observations and application towards your teaching situation are required for graded or pass/fail options.

Formal course registration and $185 per semester credit ($370) total fee accepted on Tuesday, August 7 only. Checks payable to Hamline University. Either personal check OR personal credit card option is accepted.

ACDA-MN Continuing Education Units (CEUs)

CEU’s will be available for licensure recertification at the conclusion of the week directly from ACDA-MN.  No fees are required. Participation in all Summer Dialogue sessions is expected.

30 TOTAL continuing education renewal units (CEU’s) offered for the week.

Minnesota Department of Education CEUs

Along with twenty four (24) hours of continuing education clock hour credits earned throughout the week, the following Summer Dialogue presentations will incorporate six additional hours of targeted presentations that will directly apply toward teacher re-licensing from the Minnesota Department of Education.


Applicants must include in their professional development activities which addresses accommodation, modification, and adaptation of curriculum, materials, and instruction to appropriately meet the needs of varied students in achieving graduation standards (i.e. differentiated instruction)

…each individual who was employed as a teacher — must include “evidence of work that demonstrates professional reflection and growth in best teaching practices. The applicant must include a reflective statement of professional accomplishment and the applicant’s own assessment of professional growth…” in his/her license renewal materials.

NOTE: Summer Dialogue registrants may directly apply acquisition of new learnings throughout the entire week in all professional development presentations (including All-State rehearsal observations), and include those reflections in this requirement for licensure renewal.
